It is with great sadness we announce the death of one of our Perry County flute players, Nancy Breon.  Nancy  passes away July 31st after an extended bout with cancer.  Although she had known of the cancer for sometime, she continued to participate in band activities until her treatments made it impossible to attend on a regular basis.  She did share her condition with a few members but wanted to carry on as long as she could.  

Arrangements - Services will be held at St Paul's Lutheran Church, 42 S. Main Street in Milroy,  PA. on August 4th.  Linda is visiting her mother and will attend to represent the Band.  If any other members could attend, I'm sure it would be appreciated by the family.

Nancy E. Breon, 67, of Shermansdale, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Pinnacle Health South in Harrisburg. Born on Jan. 27, 1943, in Buffalo, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Robert P. Breon, and Evelyn L. Brooks Breon, who survives in Zelienople. She was a graduate of Penns Valley High School. She loved animals and music. She was a Lutheran. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Robert A. Nale and his wife, Kimberly, of Milroy; a daughter, Natalie Nale Spiroff, of Enola; a sister, Susan Serena, of Bradfordwoods; seven granchildren; and three great-grandchildren. There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Milroy, with the Rev. Jan Moody officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Milroy. Arrangements are under the direction of Bohn Funeral Home in Reedsville.
