The election of Officers in 2010 had three candidates running for the office of President.  Curt Hudson, our tuba player, Kathy Petty, sax player and one of our fill-in directors, and Jeff Conley, Euphonium.   By show-of hands, Jeff was elected for a two-year term as Present. 

 

Thank you for your interest in the Historic Singer Band. We are an all-volunteer community band made up of musicians from Mechanicsburg and the surrounding areas. Our members come from all walks of life, whose ages range from the 20’s through the 80’s. Our repertoire consists of Marches, Show Tunes, Patriotic and conventional concert band numbers.

If you can play an instrument at the high school level or above then please consider joining us. We are always in search of new members in every section of the Band. We practice on Thursday evenings from 7:30 until 9:00. Our concerts, both public and private, take place at various venues on the West and East Shores. There are no auditions; just come and play and have some fun.
